HANSEATIC MUSEUM LUEBECK - TERRACE
The European Hanseatic Museum in Luebeck was opened in May 2015.
From the terrace on the roof you can see the river Untertrave. Also recognizable: the castle gate and the lift bridge.

The Burgtor was built in 1444 and is the north of the four former city gates of Luebeck.

Kaisertor Lübeck
The Kaisertor was originally a defense tower built around 1300 to protect the Muehlendamm. The little-used gate exit was walled up around 1500.
In the 17th century, the tower was torn down to its base, and the upper floor, which is still preserved today, was placed on top of this in the 19th century.
Beim Bau des Elbe-Lübeck-Kanals 1897 wurde das zugemauerte Tor wieder geöffnet.
